White Dresser - Project I

It was just a dresser. It was just that, a nothing-to-write-home-about dresser. I found it on Craigslist and the owner told me he had it since he was 8-9 years old. Given that he now looks in his 40s, this piece might be about my age. I just hope I don't look as blah as this dresser once did.

The Before...

The After...

A darling French cottage dresser. It would be perfect in an entryway to display the objects that define your house, in a girl's bedroom for a romantic look,or even as a nightstand so both sides are not matchy matchy. The possibilities are endless.

Technique: I applied two coats of Annie Sloan Old White paint, clear wax to seal and then dark wax to the details to accentuate its curves and lines. I spray painted the handles a espresso brown for contrast.

Measurements: 30W X 41H X 17D

Price: $250.00
